Believe it or not a dog, chewing on sunglasses happens quite frequently. The scent behind peoples ears is quite strong; this is the reason dogs often try to lick people behind the ears. Because your sunglasses will carry your scent, some dogs will like to chew on your sunglasses. If it is the temples (arms) that your dog has chewed on, you can send them back to Maui Jim and they will replace them at no charge. Maui Jim will often send back a couple of dog biscuits with a note saying something like” give this to Rover for chewing on instead of your Maui Jim sunglasses”
